Screw it, here’s version 0.3, with the half-finished logo
I’m starting to think the new logo isn’t much of a priority, which is pretty understandable. However, I do have a half-finished preview, so I’m just going to release it as-is for now. I’ve been sitting on this version for quite a while now, so it’s time I got it out there for people to see.
I’ve put the download link back, I’ll be writing up some release notes on the Wiki, then I’ll announce it on the Buzzbird twitter account. Next, it’s time to rev up for version 0.4!

Hey!
Just wanted to let you know I like Buzzbird — but I’d either really like Growl-esque popups on Windows, or at least until then, have the title bar updated with # of unread tweets (or a tray icon telling me there are new tweets, etc) — SOMETHING to tell me there are new tweets without needing to check the client manually.
I understand that it’s still in development, of course…
I look forward to a more complete version! MUCH less of a memory hog than Twhirl.
Also, some form of keyboard-only navigation would be awesome.

Thanks, @LRK.
The Growl notifications *might* be doable, perhaps by calling to an external applescript to do the work. But the titlebar idea would be pretty easy to do, I’ll try to sneak that one into the next release!
