Preferences Window – Accounts

I recently added the notification pane to preferences, and while I was in there, I spiffed up the Accounts pane a bit. Just a few more bug fixes, and I hope to start putting another release together. Thanks for your patience – work has been pretty busy lately and I haven’t had as much time to devote to Buzzbird as I’d like!

Help! Last week, BuzzBird stopped fetching tweets. I’m seeing “Error 401″ down at the bottom right of the BuzzBird window. Double-checked login, uninstalled/reinstalled…no joy. Using Windows version (have XP on work computer).

A bunch of people started reporting this recently, and I don’t know why this is happening, I have been unable to reproduce it. :( I *do* know that Twitter recently introduced a bug in the API that causes verify_credentials calls to be counted against your API limit, which could in theory cause you to hit your limit faster, but that’s quite a stretch.

Hopefully it’s an API issue that will fix itself – I’m not really sure what to do at this point.

    Hey ,

Just downloaded your Twitter Gizmo…like it thusfar..
There is something that illudes me… I can add several accounts, but how the heck do I send a tweet from acocuont A or B ? Where can I choose form what acocunt I want to tweet from and is it actually possible to be connected from two accounts at one tiime ?

@Fierce_Angel_NL unfortunately, not yet. You can only post as whatever account you care currently viewing, and you can only view one account at a time right now. :/ Allowing to post from account A while viewing B would be kinda handy, though… I’ll add it to my (growing) list! :)
